Dr Sarah Hunt

Specialist in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility

I completed my medical degree at Monash University in 2007 and after deciding to pursue a career in women’s health, in 2011 I commenced specialty training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. I completed my training in Victoria at Monash Health, Eastern Health and the Mildura Base Hospital, and then pursued an additional three years of subspecialty training in reproductive endocrinology, infertility and reproductive surgery and am now a certified subspecialist (CREI).

During my training, I also completed a Masters in Reproductive Medicine and are currently undertaking a PhD in the School of Clinical Sciences at Monash University. I hold a public appointment at Monash Health and Monash Children’s Hospital which allows me to contribute to the training of future doctors and women’s health specialists.

As a specialist gynaecologist, reproductive endocrinologist and infertility specialist, I am excited to provide informed and empathetic care to women from adolescence through to menopause.

My particular areas of interest are:

  • Adolescent gynaecology
  • General gynaecology and reproductive surgery
  • Infertility, fertility preservation and recurrent pregnancy loss

I genuinely care about my patients, and will create time and space to get to know and understand you, and ensure you feel supported and empowered to play an active role in decisions regarding your treatment.
